Hi Brittany! In here yes we are all nice people. (Aren't most pet
lovers? :) You know the expression: you can tell a lot about someone
in how they treat their pets.

That is an interesting name! Mico. I can really get going when it
comes to naming... always fascinated with one's I've not seen before.
It sorta sounds almost like a cleverly creative version of "Michael"

How did you come to that name? Pebbles, at least I can pronounce
correctly. :) Did you get that from the Flinstone's Cartoon? (Is that
Classic still around?) (The theme song is now in my head...)

My two dogs are Abbie (she came with that name)- almost 2 years old.
She is part Shih Tzu and part Terror (terrier). She's a lot of fun.
Cosmo is our pure Shih Tzu we got as a puppy from a breeder, almost 9
years ago now. He's doing good for a senior dog. Even puts up with her
rambunctious sister. 

We got Abbie from a shelter. You know something hon, if you go on
petfind.com ; select your local area; select a rescue shelter.... your
heart is gonna break. There's so many dogs out there wanting for a
home because t heir previous owner could not or would not take proper
care of them. Many are dumped out in the city streets to fend for
themselves, some are brought TO the shelter and others are rescued via
the law against cruelty to animals.

Abbie, we suspect was abandoned. She was too much for her previous
owner I suspect. At least she wasn't abused, though she is intimidated
easily by anger. When she made a few accidents in the house she'd run
under our bed and stay there for an hour.... poor thing. But she has
such a winning way of seeking forgiveness. Whoever got tired of her
just didn't have patience to train her properly. With love instead of
the newspaper rolled up....

How old are your two? And yes as per to your tagline... dogs are girls
best friends too! En how. Best friends in many ways...
