SK->I agree. The kids can learn typing skills in jr. or early sr. high.
SK->That's when I learned. My two children just hunt-and-peck for now, and

Typing should be taught as soon as they are learning writing.  MAybe we need 
keyboards that fir their hands, but it certainly should not wait uneil they 
are in high school.  Typing has applications far more reaching than report 
writing.  On line services cost money.  One is certainly going to appreciate 
being able to type fast and accurately.
