In any case it doesn't BA> stop calls from political organizations, many supposed charities or any BA> other organization that can claim it has or had - in the very dim past - BA> some sort of business relationship with you (like a credit card or store BA> charge account that you paid off and closed out). Which is why so many BA> outfits want your phone number on various applications. In such a case, all you have to do is call them and report the harrassment. BA> I never answer the phone anyway, I let the machine do it. Heck, the BBS BA> computer gets several junk/telemarketer phone calls a day. You'd be BA> surprised how fast I can delete calls left on the answering machine - Same here. (-: BA> I've told people that need to call me to say their name FIRST, because BA> if they don't I'm not going to hear the rest of whatever they had to say, NA> my finger hovers on the delete button. My recoring says the same. It really doesn't matter because when the robot telecaller hears a message from another robot, it hangs up and tries later. After so many tries, my number is probably skipped for a long time. If the robot caller display a number on my Caller ID, I call the registry and inform them, although I don't really know how much good that does. Regards, Roger ...
