Mr. Wilson, yes, as of a few days ago, I became the new Moderator of this
echo. It just took us a few days to work out some of the transfer details.

Your understanding of the rules of this echo appear to be a little skewed.
Nowhere do they say that the beliefs of the Christian faith cannot be
discussed. Quite to the contrary; that is precisely what this echo is for.
However, what I have watched you do since you first arrived here, is not
sincerely discuss Christianity, but rather debate our beliefs, and mock our
beliefs, with your equally annoying friend, Mr. Joe Bruchis. If you possess
true respect for our Christian faith, you certainly haven't been showing it.

To be self-righteous implies that one believes himself to be better than
others in some way. I assure you, I do not view myself in such a manner. I am
constantly reminded of my sinful nature, and trust only in the Mercy of God,
through the Sacrifice of Christ, for my Salvation.

Your latter comment above is also untrue. The echo rules clearly state that
the Moderator reserves the right to post his articles here for the purpose of
stimulating discussion amongst our echo participants.

The key word there is discussion, and NOT debate. Anyone who can carry on a
sincere, respectful discussion regarding my articles, or the Christian faith
in general, such as by asking questions, or by comparing notes with other
Christians, for the purpose of learning more about our faith, is welcome to
participate in this echo.

Debate is an entirely different thing. It has been my experience over the
years, that people who like to debate are usually not interested in learning a
single thing. They just want to hear themselves talk, provoke other users for
a response, push their views on others, and prove to everyone that they are
right, and everyone else is wrong. If that is the kind of "discussion" that
you are looking for, then yes, the HOLYSMOKE or DEBATE echo will suit you
fine, but not this one.

I have already answered this. See above. We discuss Christianity here in a
sincere, respectful manner for the purpose of learning more. The very fact
that you use the word "challenged" implies an intent to debate.
Again, that is
not what this echo is about. I am a Bible teacher. I teach. If you are not
teachable, well...

Well, if you are certain that you cannot accept the rules, then there is
obviously only one honorable thing for you to do. You know from the rules that
I will not tolerate any monkey business here...or excessive silliness...or
people posting while they are inebriated.
