That would have been a shock.

That was the year we hit -52 and one street lost its sewer and water
lines the whole length of it.

Just a mere 28 for me.

My daughter just reported that there's a flood at the condo
townhouse complex where I have a rental unit (her family is living
in it now). Someone uphill from us had a water line break which
flooded the street, therefore the garage floors and also the
crawl spaces. We have no serious damage and the condo corp has a
plumbing company on site and a flood clean-up crew pumping out the
crawl spaces, so neither she or I have to do anything. The flood
company is Northern Disaster Services, the Yellowknife company that
went to Dawson Creek last summer after your huge thunderstorm the
day before I visited you.

I'm still waiting for the steamer to show up at my place. Melting
snow for sponge baths is getting old.
