There are a lot of stories flying around about the status of
Carlos Hathcock's Medal Of Honor recommendation. The following is what I
personally can verify as true:
        The Marine Corps Board for Awards and Decorations has
        recommended Carlos Hathcock for the MOH.
        The Commandant of the Marine Corps has endorsed the
        recommendation and sent it to the Secretary of the Navy for his
        Approval/Recommendation.
        If the Secretary approves it, it's a done deal.
