It's actully quite simple, John.  Chances are that the girl's mother truly
believes that she'll burn in hell forever.  Worse, her daughter will feel as
if it was her fault that her mother will fry in hell for eternity.  

Religion is supposed to comfort people.  It is via acts such as that as to why
more and more people are beginning to see what religion is really like.  

May the Pope be gang raped and become pregnant.
