My parents bought a 3 BR/2 BA house with a huge front and back yard, 2 car 
garage for $21,000 in Redwood City in 1970. According to Zillow, it's now 
worth 1.1 million.

I've got a house I bought in 1996 for $295K on the market for $750K. Let's 
see if the market holds a *little* *bit* longer!
