I've done a few underwater Christmas tree decorating parties,
but have never had the pleasure of trying the Chocolate Abalone
Dive in Monterey.  In this case, there are a few of us who will
be getting together for a dive trip on a liveaboard at the end
of October.  Since this trip will coincide with both my birthday
and Halloween, we've decided to have some fun.
We're planning on teaming up and trying our hand at carving
pumpkins underwater.  We figure the finished products should
look great with a cyalume inside, and we'll probably laugh
ourselves silly in the process.  We're also working on an
underwater costume dive....

The group I'll be with is planning on diving with Kirk Schanze's
Sea Safaris liveaboards out of Ft. Lauderdale.  Kirk runs week-long
bare boat trips throughout the Bahamas.  Several of the folks in
this echo have dove with Kirk before, so I figure it's time I
give it a try.
