Some folks contend that dog behavior is purely  'stimulus/response'
governed, that they don't do things willfully outside that simple
realm. I differ entirely!

When my hubby and our ever perky, very affectionate Abbie
(shih tzu/terrier mix) return from a power walk, she always comes to me
no matter where I am in the house and greets me with a big sloppy wet
lick kiss wagging her tail. Now ain't that sweet? And isn't it also
evidence that she CHOSE to do this rather than it being a knee jerk
reflex action so to speak? :)
