Sure.  They can even believe there's no such thing as a deity.

There are a lot of folks who don't agree with me and will happily try to
force their beliefs on others - in this country by getting those beliefs 
enacted into law and/or claiming that this country has some sort of
"Judeo-Christian heritage."  Note that most of that "Judeo-Christian
heritage" was lifted from older civilizations and isn't unique to either
Judaism or Christianity.
