Pieter, while you may view Tim's remarks as 'derogatory', I do not. In fact,
I consider Tim's remarks to be a pretty obvious statement of fact, although I
will admit that Linux is gaining respect amongst those organizations that can
afford to pay the salary of a Unix Guru.
FreeBSD, and other BSD deriviatives, are in much more use amongst those with
professional Unix backgrounds. If for no other reason that it's been around a
lot longer.
In the meantime, could we please leave the moderating to the moderator? :)
