Britches Dishcloth
Size H crochet hook
4 ply worsted weight 100% cotton yarn
matching ribbon
Make 2 dishcloths to make britches
Row 1 -- Chain 28 counting the loop on hook dbl crochet in 3rd chain from
hook and all the way
across chain (27 dbl crochets)
Row 2 -- *Chain 2 ( counts as fist dc of next row) turn and dc in the
next dc
from previous row.*
Dbl crochet in all stitches across to end. DC in chain 2 of previous row.
Rows 3-14 -- Repeat from * to * and finish off.
Fold each dishcloth in half and thread ribbon thru second from the bottom
row, gather and tie a bow in each. This will form the bottom of the
"britches" leg. The thread ribbon through second from top row starting on
the front and continuing aroudn and connecting both dishcloths in the
back and continuing to the front. Gather and tie to form waist of pants.
Tie one more ribbon 4 or 5 rows from waist connecting both together to
form fly.
