Your thoughts are not your own. That is what the US Constitution
teaches us. As it should teach the entire world. Just think about
it. The US Constitution is the world's oldest written constitution
still in use today. Almost every country on earth has used it in
order to write their own version.

It's the writing effect. For thousands upon thousands of years nobody
knew how to read or write. Then, one day, somebody figured out how to
make carvings into a rock. Got me so far? Let's continue -

Written language, such as it was, then remained in the hands of
only an infinitely small percentage of the world's population. Much
less than one percent. This is how the world lived for at least the
next 5000 years. The only folks who could read and write were rulers
and their religious leaders.

Then came Jesus. He/she could not read or write. But he/she
sure taught us how to pray.

Without writing, civilization as we know it would not exist.

The pen is mightier than the sword. As the world found out when
the US Constitution was passed and ratified, creating a Christian
nation known as the United States of America.
