I think I just solved the same problem. When you're inserting a field there 
is a checkbox at the end of the dialog-box (don't know the english name of 
it, cause I'm using the german version). If checked it will reset the 
attributes (font, size and all others) when actualizing. Uncheck it and see 
if it works.
