OK, I don't have an XT and I have never had the Quickstart version, but
I will take a stab in the dark.
On the 486, if it is like 2.01, go into the preferences and set the
memory options for whatever is appropriate for your XT.  While you are
in preferences, make any other changes that would be appropriate for the
XT.  Then zip up the whole thing and copy it to the XT.  Unzip it and
attempt to run it.  If it works, fine.  If not, then try to run the
setup again.
Hopefully, this way will work.  I hope some other user(s) of Quickstart
can either confirm my suggestion or offer the real solution.
