Subject: [drakelist] Krylon
"Bill Ellis" made an utterence to the
drakelist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When we wanted to protect a connection outside like a PL-259 on an SO-239
connector, we would spray it with a product called Krylon, no not the paints
in a spray can. I believe it was mad by GC Electronics. Can't seem to find
it any longer . Would anyone know a source of this preoduct or a suitable
replacement. When it dried, there was actually a clear plastic type coating
that formed around the joint. Did a nice job of protection.
Thanks for any help,
Bill Ellis, WB9CAC
