Hi! BIN isn't *my* bbs, the sysop and proud "mom" is Terry Rune. Yes,
BIN is functional--I call it almost every day (my poor phone bill!).
Yes, it takes 2400 baud modems. BIN is a 24 hour board, with the
exception of an afternoon and a wee-hours mail time, neither of which I
can recall right now. I'm sure when Terry sees this she'll fill in the
blanks. It's a neat board--there are 5 "mini echoes" called BirdNet
which originate there; tons of files, articles, and GIF pictures,
Internet newsgroup access, and also lots of non-bird stuff (BIN is a
part of the Colorado Connection bbs).
Keep trying--I'm sure you'll like it.
Are you calling (303) 423-9775? If not, that might be why you can't get
through--the other numbers are often tied up with the Internet
call-outs.
