No problem. You can also save in the 2.0 format if you wish. The 
4.0 (I assume the Office package 4.0 which has Microsoft Word 
6.0 in it) format cannot be read directly by Word 2.0 unless 
saved in the 2.0 format.
I have Office 4.3, and it works great. Now if there is a Mac 
Version 4.0, then I can't answer that.
