 Well, we advance a lot faster with physical stuff, a bit slower with those
 mathmatics... just see, our HS_Modem began at somewhere around 300bps,
 which is slower that my typing speed... :) and now we are running 33.6kbps
 and some even started to use those not-quite-standard X2 technology...
 and yet we only have two somewhat remarkable compression scheme? while we
 have tens of remarkable improvement in transmission protocals, hardware,
 and other stuff... maybe also that better compression scheme will take a
 lot more CPU power too...
... All things are possible. Except maybe skiing through a revolving door.
