He's said it several times. I've seen it in interviews on TV and in 
articles in the Washington Times. He's also said that if a repeal of the 
AW ban comes to him, he'll veto it.

Clinton had a Democratic majority in both houses *and* Bob Dole's help. 
He can't get a majority put together in either house now.
