Hi Gary
The Twist-Loks I have purchased from DH contain modern leaded caps. What I
like about them is the very neat appearance they have sitting on the
chassis of the radio. As to price-I just received the can for the SX-62A,
and the cost for the four stage replacement needed was $14.81, shipped to
my location. If I remember correctly, the price for the filter cap
assembly for the R-4B was about the same. I doubt if I could have
purchased the leaded caps individually and had them shipped for much less.
Installation is a snap, needless to say. It's true that the caps in the
AC-4 are not visible, but the job would have been quite a bit easier with
the manufactured cans, and the price just about the same.
