Check out the LDS and their policies on marriage.  While you are at it, check 
out the average age of marriage in Utah.  

It makes sense if you know the religion.  Ed's problem is that I do know his
religion.  See the commentary on Joseph Smith's fraud conviction that has been
going on.  Ed needs to ignore that fact.  Worse for him, that fact is well
documented in official records.
