Mulling over Joe Bruchis to Steve Asher 17 Oct 2006

JB> My thoughts are, this has nothing to do with the need for tighter
JB> security. It is a means to get people used to unlawful searches
JB> and tracking. It's all part of conditioning for the new S.S. in
 JB> America.

SA> You are largely correct, but it is a bit bigger than the rebirth of
SA> Nazism. It is the emergence of a system where all buying and selling,
SA> and many activities of everyday life - flying, entering buildings,
SA> catching a train, getting a licence, opening a bank account, running
SA> or accessing an internet account - etc, are all based upon having a
SA> suitable token / credential / mark; ultimately in the right hand or
 SA> forehead.

JB> I agree with your projection of having the RFID chip implanted
JB> under the skin. However, that will allow the Police and other
JB> agencies to track you anywhere, not just around the airport. The
JB> sad part is, kids today think it's cool to have a chip implanted
JB> under their skin. As long as it is marketed that way, it won't be a
JB> problem to get the young generation to get chipped.

There is a timely article in today's UK "The Independent". pointing out
that with ID cards, pervasive surveillance, CCTV etc, we all become
suspects, and all lose our liberty. The original proposal in the UK was
for a "benefits card" which would "allow" citizens to
get pensions,
welfare payments or any form of Government "benefit", which ultimately
came from the taxes paid by citizens / taxpayers to begin with, but
will now be a mandatory ID card, with penalties for those who don't
"enroll" for the card. Every time someone uses the ID card (or ultimately
the chip implant), the transaction is logged & can be datamined or matched
with any other datasets held on the subject.

JB> You know, there aren't many of us that are educated enough to know
JB> what we both said will happen soon. Those that refuse to wake up
JB> and take a good look around will go right along with chipping, the
JB> new American Union, etc.,without a blink of the eye.

That American Union is interesting - if Canada & Mexico form a union
with the USA, will Spanish & French become "official" languages?
Will ppl need an internal passport to cross the former borders?
Will there be a common system of prices / wages / taxes? Common
foreign policy? Will it be a US-style republic, a Canadian-style
Westminster parliament? All apparently being introduced without
any public involvement or discussion.

JB> I like the analogy of the frog in the pot of hot water. One slowly
JB> turns up the heat until over a long period of time, it finally
JB> boils and kills the frog. The frog doesn't notice because it
 JB> happens so gradually.

It is always a useful analogy, but is the goal to kill the frog,
or to pollute the water? It might be a cane toad they are heating up!

JB> The same is happening to Americans. First Patriot Act I, then
JB> repealed to add more restrictions, then Patriot Act II, etc. The
JB> acts are named so the populace gets the impression that they are
JB> for our good. What could be better than a "Patriot" Act?
JB> Obviously, by the name it deals with Patriotism.

The USA certainly has some interesting "newspeak" names for Acts - here,
the names of Acts still usually bear some connection with the contents.

JB> My favorite is "No Child Left Behind". Well that has to be good
JB> because it is an Act to ensure all children receive a satisfactory
JB> education. WRONG! Scholastic Achievment is at an all time low. The
JB> act allows the military to set-up and recruit on high school
JB> campuses and also allows the military to have access to all
JB> personal information in the school.

JB> My point is, those asleep need to wakeup. As you can see if you
JB> are not awake, you won't see the truth hiding in plain site.

The best place to hide something is often in plain view.

JB> Well, I better get on to less important things (like work)!

JB> Regards and best wishes for a free world.

Thanks, & enjoy your work!

Cheers, Steve..
