I contacted Federal Express this morning and had the charges corrected.
The billing for employee shipments is direct to credit card only, and company
policy is to rebill the shipper for ANY shipment where payment is refused.
Apparently the expire date on the CC used for our account changed and the
card company refused the charge. I have updated the account and the charges
are being rebilled as I type this.
If there are any further problems, don't hesitate to call. The tapes
look good (thanks for the extras!)... just wish the system I bought them for
was more reliable. I found out from our office tech (who loaned me the drive
and controller) that they are 80% unreliable when used on 486 or better
hardware under the OS we use in the office. He tells me this AFTER I buy
tapes, cleaners, etc to try and find out what the problem is.
I think it's time to do the DAT thing.
Internet email was sent before this to help defer some of the FIDOnet
echo delay. Thanks!
