Muslim Menu runs into high speed trouble in Spain

RENFE Spanish railways have tried to introduce a special menu for Muslims 
on their AVE high speed trains.

An attempt by the Spanish state owned railway RENFE to produce special menus 
for Muslims has failed with the Halal Institute of the Islamic Junta in Spain 
saying that the idea was "no more than a trick". They say that
all the train 
company has done is take away alcohol and pork, but has not controlled other 
questions such as how animals are sacrificed, the fats used in cooking and 
other requirements under Islam.
