Hello Janis,

JK>>>> she finally "understands". I sure hope so

JK> Btw, a note to Jeff: There _can't_ be anything more negative than death.
JK> Ask my first-responder relative in NYC who died from it at the age of 28.

My condolensces for your friend (to his/her family/friends and
all who knew him/her). We have all lost someone we know due to the
coronavirus. Some have lost family, or relatives. However, there is
something more negative than death. One could be Bill Murray stuck
in a version of Groundhog Day, coming back time after time after
time to relive the history we are currently living under Trump.

JK> I think that since NYC was a real hotspot early on picking up so much of
the
JK> virus from it's ports of entry, airlines, trains, etc. etc., I could be
JK> wrong, but I think Gov. Cuomo knows that if the virus isn't seen as a
JK> global thing we are doomed. At least that is how he talks in his daily
 JK> updates?

We reached two million cases today. With just under five months to
go until the presidential election, I fully expect that number to go
higher. Much higher. Despite anything and everything a governor does
or might do. Trump has no plan, but simply reacts to whatever happens.
That is not a way to win a war of any kind. Especially against an
enemy that takes no prisoners.

 >> "America first" is not going to cut it ... it's even the worst approach
 >> possible.

JK> Yes, that is true, it's the pits, just like Trump.

The US currently has 28% of all the coronavirus cases in the world.
Easily outpacing all other countries, thus cementing its grip on #1
status.
