I tried to begin a start of one in my post to him.

I just realized; there might be my --what?-- appreciation of Mormons (other
than pleasant relations with those I've known...due to the fact that I am a 
Freemason...but haven't been active in years...and I wondered if many
Mormons were...looked it up...no stats but for the first time this year an
LDS member was made The Grand Master of a lodge, in I don't remember where...

I pondered this also in my post. As you may have noticed I'm into
comparative religions...'with malice toward none' :-)...in the last few
decades decades the philosophical implications of religion vis-a-vis
Quantum mechanics...I've got a LOT of studying to do...:-)And in so many
ways delightfully over my head.
