So true, so true.  I once tried to purchase a radio from a small shop
(one of those we all once loved to visit but are now out of business!)
only to find that they had a limited choice of freqs to pick from.  Not
only that, but what they had were already in use at our field.  (Thank
goodness for the increase in frequencies we can use!)  The few RC shops
still in business seem to have grown to a point where they do stock a
larger number of radios but they still can't compete with the impressive
stock I saw in the Tower warehouse (pant pant pant, drooooooollllll)
