WS>Nothing wierd about this one. It's a 50 ohm coax. I can say it is rather
WS>good stuff as we use it here at the EMLab, KSC. Treat it like
WS>RG-223. It's easy to work with like RG-58 only better.
That's the sorta thing I like to hear. On my budget (non-existant)
I need all the breaks I can get. Now all I need is to find the mount to
the ant. I have (Larsen FB1-136) and get all the other parts talking to
each other and I'll be all set. It's suprising what one can find if
one is not picky as all getout. I got a badly treated HTX-202 at the
same flea market for $12.50. Except for a rather odd birdie, and putting
out 10W @ 12V it works like a charm. I've got the business end of an old
GE mobile the the sheriff's dept sent to the local salvage yard for more
wattage, and to power the whole mess, (and this one beats all) a power
supply from a rather large pbx. The 12V supply I can use, but I have
no idea what to use the 90VAC @ 20Hz for. :) My total cost for all this
is around $30. Personally, I'd rather have all new, but on the air is
still on air.
                 My thanks for the info,
                               Paul
