-> -> church :-) --and As Ed Hulett is with his. May we all continue to learn. -> -> (Those who stop trying to learn, are of no further use to Goddess...:-) ) -> -> -> What the hell has happened to you, John? You used to be rather coherent. I gave coherency up for Lent. -> -> The point of this is that it isn't anywhere close to logical to continue to -> believe a 'manuscript' when it is proven several times over that the -> so-called translation wasn't a translation at all. Why I wonder did it have to be proved over and over? I off handedly think that it wasn't a translation it was an inspiration: Looking at hieroglyphs in the British Museum, I was transfixed by it...imagining I could read it, awed by it; the care taken, the ubiquity of it's message what ever it was...I was hypnotized. Perhaps...I'm not sayin', but perhaps...anyway, it depends on what it says. You want religion to be logical? -> -> It's like thinking you have a copy of some lost work of Socrates and -> finding out it was only a rendition of "The Cat in the Hat", a laundry list -> and a recipe for barbecued camel. It's like that for those who wish to believe that it's like that. I'm not about to try to convince you that it's NOT like that, nor will your 'logic' prevail with those who think otherwise. (Is! Is not! Is! Is not!) -> Cheers... --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 690/734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
