It was only a 'sewer' to people like you who want to force religion on
everybody. Styxx Allum and Fred Leff started this echo as a place for those
of us without gods. It was a place to go to get away from the preaching and
sermonizing and demonizing. But you came looking for us, didn't you.

Working for a small publishing house as a book editor, cleaning up raw
translations from several Balkan languages into readable American English;
working for the union; enjoying having my son and grandson live here with
us; visiting other atheist sites where the previous moderator (Quarrella)
hadn't turned over the place to those who want nothing less than complete
obliteration of anyone who disagrees with them on anything.

Oh, and protecting my investments in hosting space from hostile attacks
originating out of this echo.
