On my linux box I use the ifconfig command to see what my IPs are..

alan@trmb:~$ sudo ifconfig

        inet 192.168.1.65  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.1.255
        inet6 fe80::fa0f:41ff:fee9:df2f  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20
        inet6 2001:569:faf1:7a00:fa0f:41ff:fee9:df2f  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x0


Websites like ipv6-test.com are handy too..
