Hi!
I've heard of a tape backup system that uses your video & standard tapes,
but at work we have a backup unit which uses 8mm (Video 8) tapes. These
store differing amounts of data, depending on the length of tape. I believe
we are using 160 meter length tape which stores 4Gig. Speed is phenomenal with
these, backups run at 40Mb /minute using an external SCSI tape drive.
Unfortunately, I don't know about brands or supplier. Hope the info helps!
