Hello Adam, (& OH, please don't take this seriously)
OH>I have a frend and he have forgot his BIOS password.
             ^^^^^ he means fiend
OH> I prommised him to look for a program to reset then BIOS password or
 OH> change it.
Is that a pun or did you miss the prom because you were looking for a
program or did you go to the prom to late to tell him you were looking
     for a program, or...?
 OH>Anyone have a code?
I had one last week. This echo often has one on this thread :-)
AM> I don't think you can reset the BIOS through a program since the
AM> computer is locked up. You have to reset it manually.
Reverse the AC, kick it, and call a locksmith.
AM> you take out the BIOS chip and shorten the pins,
                                                use a proper pliers
AM> the chip should erase itself.
If not, use the back end of a pencil.
AM> Just make sure that you don't zap it a.k.a. _evil_
AM> static! Can kill a computer! (Computers are very fregile :)
Rub the chip tenderly on the carpet to apply _good_ static.
(Watch it's little legs curl up)
Be sure to reinsert the IC backwords.
AM> * Nothing is so smiple that it can't get screwed up.
Is that a double negative? I'm confused :-)
Regards, Barry
