I just found out that my local college (UC Santa Cruz) has trailer parking
with amenities on campus, and that students would live in a trailer for their
term there, then sell the trailer to the next person. There are 30 year old
trailers that have been lived in full time and maintained by the students. The
mind boggles.

Looks like they're planning on developing the land...
