By your selective enforcement of who gets to say what. Believers of any stripe can say whatever they please, no matter how ridiculous, but let anyone call them on it and your hand down "can your hate filled screed". Face it, no matter what, if a non-believer says anything, you label it as hate. -> C> The law that says you don't have the right to force those beliefs on me. -> -> The law says no such thing.. The law guarantees *EVERYONE* free and equal -> rights, with the stipulation that your rights end where another persons rights -> begin. Yep, that means you DON'T have the right to force your beliefs on me. You don't have the right to force religious beliefs into laws that everyone must follow. -. -> -> C> Why not? Especially if they insist that I have to follow their path? -> -> Then it is time to become an Adult and just say no. I have...how many times, now? Does any religionist hear ever hear it? The moderate religions, the ones who do respect others and don't feel that they have to have a full scorecard to get into heaven, don't push at all. The dominionists do. And 'no thank you' isn't in any way within their scope of comprehension. -> -> Can you become an Adult sir? SIR????? BWaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahah Well, yes, that fits you. This echo should always be an all boys club. Us women just don't have the brain ... or the balls ... to join in. -> -> C> One more question, Ross. When was the last time an atheist came to your -> C> door to share the 'good news' and refused to leave when you said 'no -> C> thanks'? Or left a flyer offering free food if you needed it but only if -> C> you sat through a lecture first? Or put up a billboard stating "An Educated -> C> Person Knows the Origin of Species". Ok, so that's 3 questions but you -> C> can't answer ANY of them in the affirmative, can you? -> -> I have never had a person of faith refuse to acknowledge my polite answers of -> "Thanks, Sorry, not interested". The Jehovahs Witnesses seem to be the main -> active recruiters around here in Baptistville. -> -> All religions ask its members to spread the word, I think your biggest fear is -> not being able to become an Adult and just say no. I have learned to do so, why -> cant you? Can I ask you to please answer my questions? When was the last time an atheist came to your door to share the 'good news' and refused to leave when you said 'no thanks'? Or left a flyer offering free food if you needed it but only if you sat through a lecture first? Or put up a billboard stating "An Educated Person Knows the Origin of Species". And I can guarantee that around here, no thanks just doesn't work. I've had to start keeping gates and doors locked from having pushy spreaders of the 'good word' walk into my house without even bothering to knock when the front door is open but the screen door closed. (I also have a doorbell, but it seems they're allergic to them) --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:124/311) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/250 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 222/2 226/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 396/45 633/260 267 690/734 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 2222/700 SEEN-BY: 2320/100 105 2905/0 @PATH: 124/311 140/1 261/38 633/260 267 |
