BS> When I first saw this posted, I was going to comment, but as to avoid

BS> being cynical - I didn't. This sparked my attention, Mark. So to shed

 BS> some light.

 BS> (Concerning...)

MS>> The modem mysteriously arrived after I rung up and enquired at the

 MS>> P.O.

 MS>> that modems a bargain!

 BS> ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

BS> If I remember correctly, the price asked, (price paid?) for the USR

BS> V.everything was $440. Sorry to say buddy, but the _austel approved_ -

BS> which Bill somehow made seem like a "bad" thing - version
is selling

BS> for $425 at a nice cheap _retailer_. I dont know where you're looking,

BS> but your bargain mightent be so good for something thats illegal and

BS> mighty expensive for what it is.

 BS> Concerned - or just a smartass? ;)

Price is NOT everything, Your Australian Austel Courier (that is SO CHEAP)

is 5 flash rom upgrades behind the Domestic model that we are talking

about above. Many more features available than the Austel model also.

The last SDL available for the Austel model is dated Nov last year.

The last SDL available for Marks is 2 weeks old (0920sdl.exe)

Available in NSW and QLD on BBS's and the internet

To have a Courier that is now only two weeks old

is alone worth the $15 difference.

Mark DID get a bargain

you will if you keep that up.
