Just a quick note... Man, what a difference! I found a pair of
1-ohm 1-watt resistors. Still have some problems that indicate
that the T/R relay needs replacing so have just placed one on order.
I'll leave the radio off until that arrives, but I can tell already
that this is the right track. Many thanks!
