That's not age related! I can't count the number of times I've been at work, 
with way too many windows open on my system, too many things going on at 
once, and realize I've totally forgotten what it was I'd set out to do.

Maybe the fact I can't count the number of times this has happened along 
with the fact that it's happening should tell me something.
