Not a chance: My regulator assembly is a "mix and match" with components
from 4 different vendors:
1. Main Regulator - Beauchat VS-10
2. Octopus - Mares, with yellow plastic spiral wrap on the hose
3. SPG - Dacor
4. Computer - Uwatec Aladin Sport w/ gage guard
This eclectic mix of stuff, which came from 3 different dive shops,
is so "individualized" that there is little chance of coming
across another identical regulator setup on a charter boat or resort.
Not even the other divers I hang out with regularly have a reg similar
to mine because the Mares octopus I have came from a dive shop
in Hawaii and they are not sold at any dive shop around here. In fact,
I will probably have to replace this octopus next season, as no one
here in town can service it.
