I skimmed across tons of messages in Fidonet over the years, seeing just
names in the to/from fields, bfd.

Steve Quarella asked both myself and Bob Seaborn to watch the echo for him,
because another sysop was toying with the distribution of this echo and one
moderated by Dan Ceppa, had it not been for that, Steve was prepared to
leave Fidonet before then. Steve became incognito after that, hey here is a
radical thought maybe his personal life became too hectic??? I let the echo
sit as it was, except to maintain its echolisting and backbone status. When
Bob asked me earlier this year to remove him from the echolisting because
he noted Steves removal from the nodelist, I decided to try to do something
with the echo..

If my intentions towards this echo was so **EVIL** I sure as hell would not
have partnered with and selected Dan Ceppa as my co-moderator..

I selected Dan because of his links with this echo.

Of course if I really wanted to destroy this echo, as a backbone star I
could refuse to carry it, or better yet, as the listed moderator, I could
have simply pulled the echo from all backbones..

But go ahead and believe as you will, that is what weak minded people like
yourself do.
