I couldn't have said it better myself. Microsoft is getting KILLED
financially by the "Tablets", so that's why they made Windows 8.x to
look like that. Yet, I've talked to several folks working in computers
who tell me that "you don't want Windows 8". In short, they're not
impressed.
As I noted in a message to Roger...what about the small businesses, or
those on fixed incomes who can NOT afford to throw out perfectly good
working hardware and software (never mind the computer itself), just
to get all new stuff to satisfy Microsoft's corporate greed. Expenses
for food, health, medicine, utilities, etc. are a lot more important to
these people.
Several will either stick with XP, switch to Mac or Linux, or throw it
all out, and go offline altogether.
