Well, I was otherwise occupied most of the time, but I'm sure that was the
case. Of course, protests during the Rep. convention were given some
overage.

I gave up network news for Lent - 1986. When I hear it at all it is
unintentional but enough to convince me that _they_ and the big news papers
and magazines are "the mysterious forces" deciding who should be elected or
defeated.
I think they manipulated things so that Dole, rather than a strong
alternative, would face Clinton, assuring his return to the oval office, back
during the primaries. Worse, I think it will work since Dole is such a poor
candidate that people are voting for fourth, fifth, and sixth party
candidates because they figure all they can do is "send a message."
