Dear Ruth,
Thanks for the comeback.
I'm so sorry that your injury inhibits what you can do with your
hand. I agree, the biggest barrier to anyone doing good Calligraphy is
having the time to practice. Leave it alone for two weeks and it
doesn't know you anymore. Some crafts are easy to lay down and pick up
again, [like non pattern crochet] but calligraphy is NOT one of them.
Never fear, i always get my nutrients. I am a graduate dietitian.
When my lord was released from the hospital after open heart surgery,
they arranged for an interview with the staff dietitian. We talked for
a little while. I wasn't snooty, as my degree came 20 years before and
dietetics is constantly changing, however when i got the answer to my
questions as " I'll have to look that up." for the seventyleventh time
and she admitted that she didn't cook much. I gave up in disgust and
dig out my own answers. My lord says that i scarred the stuffing out of
her.
One of 'my' colors is green also, although royal blue is my
favorite. Being Irish, i have chosen green pretty often. I tend to
buy my trousers [except for pans suits, and have my tops, barely
decent's, pjs, and fancy dresses, made to fit my Junesque figure and my
old fashion taste. Then i wear them for the next 20 years or so . I am
actually still wearing [and have been regularly] some that i had made
over 30 years ago.
Shalom, ll
