-> Is the "super 80" the same as the compact 80?
I don't know if a super 80 is the same as a compact 80, but I do know
that I recommend the compact 80 if you can find them. I have 4 made by
Catalina and I searched long and hard to find the last one. The compact
80's are neutral buoyant when empty, meaning you can take a quick 4 lbs
off your weight belt (compared to the standard 80's) and meaning they
don't float out of place when they're getting low on air. You can get
them filled to their slightly higher working pressure (3,300 psi) just
about anywhere in the world, including places that can't fully fill the
high pressure steel tanks.
