Water quality in Michigan varies drasticly.  From the slightly acid of the 
lakes, to hard enough to pound nials into in some ground water areas.  And 
ou
cna have sudden shifts in quality by moving a few miles.  Anyone getting 
Great Lake water is getting good stuff.  The ground water on the other hand 
requies a good deal of treatment.
