  In addition the effective methods mentioned here:

  Graphics - You're depending on the user to correctly type in the E-mail
address from the graphic.
   Web page form - if the user needs a reply, you're depending on them to
correctly type in their E-mail address.

   I came up with a one-off form of Javascript scrambling such that it
could not be harvested unless the harvester fully renders all javascript on
the page and looks at the resulting code for E-mail address.  This results
in a clickable link for browsers with Javascript enabled.   You might be
able to find something like this out there.     I can't say for sure if the
spammers have javascript-executing harvesting robots yet though.   (If they
did, it would be fun to try to jam them up some how!!)
