That's pretty much what happened. Only, no one has yet to point out any
specific piece of software that actually has a problem with the Synchronet FTN
MSGID format, so I continue to maintain that it's not a problem.

I think it's only really a problem for those users that actually *see* the
MSGID and recognize it as "different". FTN MSGID's were not
designed for human
consumption, and as such, should not be judged by humans (IMHO). :-)
