I dunno for sure. All I know is that a friend's 70 Firebird had a rear end
break because of the tremendous torque the 400 produced, so he opted to
race the wife's little Honda on car-club race day. He did that for 4
months in a row, while hagling with the dealer for a replacement under
warranty rear end for the Firebird.

With 12" wheels and very little tire, that's saying a lot.
